This program has a Camp atmosphere in that it runs weekly deep into the fall and is designed for students that are committed to achieving a highk level of paddling excellance.   The workshops are run on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.   Each workshop is two hours long with a primary focus on Safety while learning how to execuite and perfect your paddling skills using the training course at Rock Park. You will be perfecting and using the techniques, concepts and procedures used by the best paddlers in the Country.   Your paddling strokes, boat control and comfort will show significent progress.    Your Roll will improve.  This workshop is meant to be fun,  however you should be physically prepared because the routines and drills are very exhausting and hopefully will help push you to a new level of paddling excellence.  Slalom Racing, Playboating and endurance training are just some of the highlights of this program.   This group also gets first preference on any River trips that we take.   Spend a summer with us and you will achieve significant inprovement in your paddling skills.  The weekly "Skill Development Workshops" are run at the Rochester Canoe and Kayak Park.   During the Summer optional River trips, that are suited to your present skill level, will be offered.   If you wish additional information about these programs please fill out the Program Inquiry from below and you will be contacted by phone to answer your questions.
