Canandaigua Outlet Release Schedule

Kayak Adventures and the Shortsville/Manchester Chamber of Commerce are pleased to anounce plans for

scheduled Releases on the Outlet.   Kayak Adventures and the Cascade Falls Whitewater Racing Team will head

the events.  A Training course will be set up in Littleville starting at the Bridge and finishing behind the old Pioneer Thrasher building.  Please use discretion when running the Outlet.  This is a class three somewhat Technical run and only Intermediate level or above paddlers should run it.  This is a community project and Volunteers are welcome to help us maintain a safe environment for all that choose to use it. Work Party Schedules will be posted here.  Please do not copy and paste this schedule on other sites.  Changes in the schedule will only be posted here.   Use the following link as a reference to this schedule.

CANANDAIGUA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCELL ANY RELEASE IF THE LAKE LEVEL DOES NOT MEET

PREDETERMED CRITERIA.

Releases will be approx 500 cfs.  The water will get to the Little Bridge between 2:30 and 3:30 and will remain on until around 8:00pm.  The will vary somewhat depending on the Lake Level and run off fdrom recent rain if there is any.
