Kayak Adventures and the MCC Maverick Aquatic Club are sponsoring Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking Programs at the MCC Pool this Winter/Spring. Kayak Adventures is widely recognized in the upstate New York area as a leader in the Development of Whitewater Kayaking venues and has been rated the Top school in the New York , New England region. New this winter is a Weekday afternoon class that concludes with a river trip. You will receive 12 hours of expert instruction for one low price. Course description is outlined below.

Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking (2008)
This is a comprehensive Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking, specifically designed to develop a strong foundation in the Basics of White Water Kayaking. Safety procedures, paddling strokes, and the Eskimo roll are just some of the topics covered. Each class is divided into two three hour sessions. Included is a full day trip to a nearby river at a time convenient to you. All equipment is provided, the student must be able to swim. Registration is required in advance for this program. All classes are held at the MCC Pool on Thursday's from 4 to 7 pm.
