Moving Water Workshops
The Moving Water Workshops are designed especially for the student that has completed the Introduction To Kayaking (Winter Program). Now you get to use the skills that were developed in the pool during the Winter. Your day starts with a review of the Water Safety Code outlined by American Whitewater. Following the Safety Review you will proceed to the River to begin transferring your pool skills to moving water. You will learn ferries, peel outs and eddy turns and more. Upon completion of this Workshop you are eligible to enter one of the Novice/Intermediate Skill Development Workshops. Students must be able to swim. All classes are held Rock Park.
