Many different types of boats entered last year. Open Canoes, Racing Kayaks, Two person Canoe's and Recreation Kayaks all ran the course to test their skill. |
Race entry procedure:
Go to Shortsville/Manchester Derby web site for Registration information.
Register at the Race Information Both located at 1455 Pioner Road, Shortsville NY 14548 on
Saturday or the Sunday morning before 9:30am.
NOTE: Registration allows for up to three classes. All rec and Slalom Classes are avalable.
Check in with race Director with the classes you want to run and to receive your bib
number.
Race Schedule:
Friday: Fine tune the course, ready for practice by 4pm
Saturday: Morning Practice until 11am. Gates will be pulled back during the Raft race.
upon completion of the Raft race the gates will be put back in place and
practice can resume.
Sunday: Racers Meeting at 11am (1455 Pioneer Road)
Race starts between 11:30 and 12:00
Awards given out at the completion of Slalom and Sprint Event.
